On March 7, 2023, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange held the annual event “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality”, which marked the grand opening of the trading day.

The TWSE celebrates the "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2023" campaign in honor of International Woman’s Day 2023.

On March 7, 2023, the 3rd “Ring the bell" event dedicated to gender equality was held at the Baku Stock Exchange in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Azerbaijan.

For the ninth time, stock exchanges from around the world will take part in “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event. To mark the International Women’s Day, on 8 March at 9.00 am, the bell in the Quotation Room of the Warsaw Stock Exchange will ring to draw attention to the issue of inequality of women and men in the labour market and in society.

Boursa Kuwait rang the bell for the sixth consecutive year on International Women's Day in commemoration of gender equality and women’s empowerment and with the participation of the Kuwait Clearing Company (KCC), recognizing the significant role women play in the development of the Kuwaiti capital market and the private sector.

Women executives of the founder families of TASE-listed companies participated in the Opening Bell ceremony this morning to mark International Women's Day 2023. The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), a wholly owned subsidiary of Miami International Holdings, Inc., today proudly announces its participation in the World Federation of Exchanges’ ninth annual “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” Campaign for International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023.

The “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2023’ event was part of the global initiative by the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, which currently includes 122 world exchanges, in partnership between such international structures as UN Global Compact, UN Women, International Finance Corporations, World Federation of Exchanges and Women in ETFs as global partners, which aims to promote gender equality and empower women across the globe. The theme chosen by the UN Women for this year is “DigitAll: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”. In her speech Dr Portelli highlighted that digitalisation plays a critical role in today’s world and is a crucial tool which helps promote gender equality. She said, “..we need to focus on the importance of innovation towards gender responsive technology“ which goes beyond acknowledging and raising awareness and is the way forward to ensure that any gender’s concerns are integrated in the design of innovative solutions. Present for the event were all female employees and top management of the Exchange.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) along with the UN Women took time out to ‘Ring the Bell’ in recognition of women internationally and especially honouring all Jamaican and Caribbean women.

For the fifth consecutive year, Athens Stock Exchange joined the ‘Ring the Bell for Gender Equality' initiative of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), with the partnership of UN Global Compact and Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE). This year's "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality" Closing Bell took place on March 8th, 2023, by honoring women in upper management positions of ATHEX-listed companies.

In line with the theme, DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality” GSE invited women who have made an impact with the use of Innovation and Technology on climate change and sustainability.

This is the sixth consecutive year that BME has joined the initiative, which this year is being celebrated by more than a hundred stock exchanges around the world, including the Zurich Stock Exchange, managed by SIX Group, owner of BME.

Taipei Exchange (TPEx) is proud to join the global event, "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2023" in celebration of International Women's Day.

The Korea Exchange (KRX) held its "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality" ceremony today at its PR Center in Seoul in partnership with the UN Global Compact (UNGC) Network Korea, UN Women and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), joining 116 exchanges globally to raise awareness for gender equality.
